Our Commitment

Coincert is built with the belief that managing your money should be something anyone can do, regardless of ability. We want every feature in the app to be usable by every person who needs it.

As a native iOS and macOS application, Coincert supports the accessibility features built into Apple’s platforms, including VoiceOver, Dynamic Type, Reduce Motion, Bold Text, Switch Control, and other assistive technologies provided by iOS and macOS. We follow Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines for accessibility and test against these technologies as part of our development process.

A Solo Act — With Open Ears

Coincert is built by a solo developer. That means a small team, but it also means your feedback goes directly to the person writing the code — no ticket queues, no layers of support to get through.

Accessibility is a priority, not an afterthought. But being a one-person team also means there’s a chance something might not work perfectly with every assistive technology in every situation. If you run into something that doesn’t work the way it should — a screen that VoiceOver doesn’t read correctly, text that doesn’t scale properly, a gesture that doesn’t have an alternative — I genuinely want to hear about it.

When you write, it helps to include:

What you were trying to do
Which assistive technology you were using (VoiceOver, Switch Control, etc.)
Your device and iOS/macOS version
A description of what happened vs. what you expected

Accessibility issues will be prioritized for quick fixes whenever possible. If a fix needs more time, I’ll let you know what to expect and when.

Supported Accessibility Features

Coincert is designed to work with the following iOS and macOS accessibility features:

VoiceOver — full screen reader support for navigating accounts, transactions, and budgets
Dynamic Type — text scales with your preferred font size settings
Bold Text — enhanced text weight for improved readability
Reduce Motion — minimized animations for users sensitive to motion (including Standing Ovation celebrations)
Increase Contrast — improved visual distinction between elements
Switch Control — navigation for users who rely on adaptive switches
AssistiveTouch — alternative input support
Dark Mode — reduced eye strain in low-light environments
